The best part is that many large fabricators have upgraded to a Voortman from a 3-torch. You will be amazed at the results!

The Voortman will cut the copes in your steel beams faster than your layout man can even layout the copes. In the same way that the Voortman CNC Beam Drill Line and the Gulf States Saw & Machine Co. CNC Angle Line brought affordable automation of beams and angles to the small-to-medium fabricator, the Voortman similarly brings automated beam coping into shops that otherwise could never have considered it.

Programming the Voortman CNC Beam Coping Machine is very simple and intuitive even for operators with no CNC or computer experience.

The APC 1200 is an upgraded version of the APC 1200. The combination plasma and oxy fuel cutting features are available with both torches mounted on pivoting heads. The computers will control the flipping of one to the other in less than a second, so you don't have to do any manual work. To maximize efficiency, the machine is operated primarily using the Plasma. The machine is preprogrammed so that it automatically switches to the Oxy Fuel if the material thickness exceeds the Plasma's cutting capabilities. The upgraded unit includes laser probing to adjust the height automatically.

".. over the past two and a quarter years, we have seen a dramatic improvement in the efficiency and quality the preparation of our product. It was difficult to cope with and prepare for welds in the past. Manually laying out and burning leaves much to be desired. The Liberator is much more efficient and leaves you with a cleaner burn. The Liberator delivers big results in a small machine. Ocean has given us the opportunity to save energy and time, which in turn means that we can offer our customers a better product and a lower price.

We have installed more then a thousand CNC beamlines and angle lines across the globe. We have found that the average operator who has never programmed any machine before can become proficient on it in less half a day.

This safety mechanism ensures long tip and head life as well as significantly increasing up time to avoid costly torch tip changeovers and repairs.

Ocean Liberator Cnc Beam Coping Machine

Voortman CNC Beam Coping Machine uses an oxy-fuel. It doesn't matter how thick your material is. Anything up to 6 feet can be worked.

Voortman can upload a cope profile to the CNC software via the built in shape library or CAD. This user-friendly interface allows you to calibrate cutting tolerances manually, nest parts for the coping and track robotic cutting paths so any errors can be avoided. Voortman can begin perfecting his work by simply loading the material into the computer and pressing the start key.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lightweight coping saws have a thin blade that is ideal for cutting intricate shapes and curves. Although coping saws can be easy to use, they can be intimidating.

A box beam made from aluminum or acrylics will last longer than an I-Beam. It is stronger and more solid in construction.

Continuous: A beam that extends over more than two supports. Cantilever: A beam that projects from one end and is fixed at the other. The support on the opposite end of the beam is not needed. We will examine some classic beam loading examples. This simple beam has two supports and a centre load.

1- T beams have a greater second moment inertia than ordinary beams. This means they are more resistant to bending.

Oscillating Power Tool. Coping is the best choice for any corners in the room. A coping saw could be used to accomplish the task, but an oscillating power instrument could make it easier.
